Ways to help

WAYS FOR INDIVIDUALS TO HELP

1. Pray for all those involved with the charity.
2. Ensure that the Headteacher or RE co-ordinator of your local Primary school knows what we have to offer them.
3. Consider active work for us in the area in which you live.
4. To help us financially you can:
(a) Send us a DONATION. If you pay tax, send the Gift Aid declaration with your donation; this enables us to claim 25p from the Government for every £1 you give. It also reduces your own tax bill if you pay some tax at the 40% rate.
(b) Consider a regular STANDING ORDER together with one Gift Aid declaration to cover every payment.
(c) Consider PAYROLL GIVING, where your employer sends us your donation and you do not pay any tax on it.
(d) Include “Bibles for Children” as a beneficiary of your will. Your LEGACY is exempt from Inheritance Tax and will continue to help our work flourish when you are no longer here.

WAYS FOR CHURCHES AND ORGANISATIONS TO HELP

1. Consider the inclusion of an annual amount in your Church budget to FUND THE  FOLLOW-ON GIFTS in your local Primary School. We need sponsorship of just £5.95 per pupil to provide a personal Children’s Bible to every child in the new Year 2 and a Rainbow Good News Bible to all older pupils each year. [If you have suitable people in your group you could also enquire whether any voluntary help is needed to help the school in School Assemblies, and R.E. and other lessons.]

2. If funds permit, extend this idea to cover annual FOLLOW-ON GIFTS in other Primary Schools.

3. Organise functions to HELP US FUND THE FIRST GIFT to all the pupils in a school from Year 2 upwards.
